Giveaway Collage

Today, I wanted to share with you a contest from Dog Collars Boutique. One lucky winner gets a harness, a martingale collar (I swear by these), a leash, a coupler, and a collapsible bowl for water breaks. I thought I’d share it here because I believe many of my readers would benefit from these items (everything is pictured).

The Benefits of Walking Your Dog

Alabama loves her walks. If I take a step toward the cupboard where we store her leash, her tag starts wagging and she can’t contain her excitement. She loves her walks because they’re good exercise and they treat her to new smells and locations, but what are some of the other benefits?

  • Socialization: walks are a great time to be greeted by people and their dogs. It’s a great way to ensure your dog is socialized and comfortable with new people.
  • Potty training: If your dog is struggling with learning to do her business outdoors, regular walks give you an opportunity to treat her when she evacuates outdoors, which will eventually teach her that it’s rewarding to go outside not
  • Provides you with exercise. Regular walks with your dog are good for you and your dog.
  • Helps manage your stress by connecting you to nature. Choose parks and other natural places to take walks and you’ll find your mind at rest while enjoying the great outdoors.

What You Need to Walk Your Dog

Overall, everything you need to walk your dog is covered in the giveaway. You need a collar or a harness, but having both are nice especially the halter which helps when you’re training your dog not to pull on the leash. The lead, or leash, is of course how you keep control of your dog and keep her from running off. The coupler allows for a second leash to be added (perhaps for a child’s leash) or to attach a second dog for double duty walking. Finally, you need a water bowl because your dog gets thirsty and drink breaks should be taken to ensure she’s healthy throughout the experience.

Overall, it’s a fine giveaway and I think you should enter. You can do so once per day, so make sure to bookmark the page to return every day until the contest’s end. Good luck!
